About the Course.

For the past 11 years, our mission has been to help young people celebrate their individuality, increase their confidence and hone their natural talent.

Our strength is to help students develop their performance abilities, creating a dynamic character so at the conclusion of the course, they have the opportunity to ‘strut their stuff!’ at local theatre with full tech & professional costumes.

Our Spring musical theatre course has a holistic instructive design to help youth improve their acting, singing & dancing skills while creating a safe place for students to be accepted in a community atmosphere.

The Addam’s Family is a musical comedy that ranges in themes of jazz, swing, flamenco, vaudeville, and contemporary. This course will challenge and push all students to explore outside of their comfort zones.

THE ADDAM'S FAMILY is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

What our Students say…

  • My favourite part of ’13’ is that I played a character outside of my comfort zone. I learned how to pour my emotions into my performance to make it feel and look real. This training program is an amazing opportunity to develop, expand and explore your talents as an actor and along the way, you get to make new friends & have fun!

    -Alexandra, age 15

    • My favourite part is meeting and working with everyone in the cast. I love them all very much!! The coolest thing I learned was how to sing and dance better. I am so thankful for being part of LJT. The instructors brought me out of my shell & immersed me in amazing theatre skills,

      -Karim, age 17

        • “My favourite part is singing and acting with my friends. I love to be apart of such a great group of people and to act on stage with them. I have truly enhanced my acting abilities & I have been able to develop greater connection with everyone. I love going to rehearsal because I have so much fun.”

          -Pierce age 14

          • My favourite part of Lion King has been learning the Choreography and Singing! The most challenging part of my role has been trying to keep my NYC accent! This is my third musical with Liberty Junction and have loved all three!
