Letter of Us: Sincerely, Melanie and Peter Money

“It is a risk to love. What if it doesn’t work out? Ah, but what if it does.”
― Peter McWilliams

This is such a beautiful quote. We loved it so much that we attached it to our wedding favours. We both thought that it gave a great summary of who we are, where we’d been and what we desire in our lives together.

What if? What if you risk and it doesn’t work out? Ah, as Peter McWilliams asks, what if it does?

We met each other, as many would say, ‘later in life’, but knew when we looked into each others’ eyes the first time, that this was the beginning of something magical! We were in the midst of something unfolding that would be the most incredible journey that either of us had ever been on!

Very early on in our relationship, we had many conversations about what we had done with our lives before meeting. It was very clear that our hearts beat with the same melody: investing in people’s lives to let them know we care. In short, we make it our aim to love people and challenge them to believe in themselves.

Liberty Junction Theatre, Inc. exists as a gathering place for freedom to be explored. We believe that where there is freedom, creativity will flow. We believe that when we, together, decide to risk, what comes out is one of the most incredible beauties anyone could behold. We aim to cultivate, joining with each of our staff, a positive and safe environment for participants, young and old, so that creativity and freedom would be expressed naturally.

We are grateful to see where Liberty Junction Theatre, Inc. has come and where it will be in the future. We truly believe we have always been on the cusp of something amazing. We are expanding into Hamilton (and beyond) with the same focus we started with in Mississauga: Cultivating freedom so Creativity will flow.

We believe that it is in risking that creates the most beauty. Yes, it may be scary – what if it doesn’t work out? Ah, but what if it does?

Liberty Junction Theatre, Inc., for more than ten years, has been filled with creative experiences of those willing to risk. We have seen what comes together and it’s a most unmistakably beautiful experience! We desire to continue to cultivate our collaboration of staff, parents and children to walk out on the stage of life and show their true selves for the world to see.

It truly is a privilege to be a part of this beautiful company. We thank you for trusting us with your children. It has been an incredible journey. And it has only just begun!

Sincerely yours,

Peter & Melanie Money
