THE STORY
It is present-day, and in the kingdom of Auradon, all of Disney’s beloved heroes and royalty are living happily ever after, safe from the terrifying villains and troublesome sidekicks they have banished to the magic-free Isle of the Lost. That is until Ben, the benevolent teenage son of Belle and King Adam (The Beast), offers a chance of redemption for the troublemaking offspring of the evilest villains. Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos – the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Cruella De Vil, and Jafar – are welcomed to Auradon Prep to attend school with the children of their parents’ sworn enemies. Now entering a completely foreign world and way of life, the four Villain Kids have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

Our Rave Reviews

  • Watching the show come to life and learning all the songs has been my favourite part. The most challenging part has been staying in character through the whole show.
    – Shaya, age 9, as Young Nala
  • The coolest thing I have learned in Matilda is that it is a fun musical and that I can sing with a British Accent! My favourite part of the process has been singing, acting choreography and being with everyone.
    Nikhil, age 10 as Tommy
  • My favourite part of Newsies has been learning a new role and becoming a sort of mean/angry newsie boy.  I have been in 3 musicals with Liberty Junction including this one. I really enjoy them!
    Pierce, age 12 as Newsie
  • The most challenging part of my role has been trying to stay in character during awkward and funny moments! This is my 7th show with Liberty Junction. I feel I most belong on stage with my friends.
Liam, age 16, as The Beast
  • This is my 10th production with LJT! My favourite part of the show has been exploring new emotions and expressions!  Being able to have a laugh while learning with friends is truly the best!
Alexandra, age 14 as the Scarecrow
