Sessions 1 & 2 are geared toward actors new to the industry.Sessions 3 & 4 are geared toward actors who have completed the first 2 sessions OR who are already working in the industry and are looking to hone their skills and get cast in more challenging roles. This interactive workshop will be socially distanced at our studio, unless government restrictions force us to meet online.

The Ins & Outs

Learn the difference between acting for theatre vs. for camera, learn film lingo and terminology, how to act with different angles and lenses, discover who’s who in the crew, set etiquette and how to rock your first gig. This is a foundational workshop for any actor who wants to break into the film and TV industry.
In this workshop, students will learn about how auditions work, how to ace an audition, slating, how to not get conned in the industry, headshot criteria and how to make a proper film & TV resume.

In this Intermediate / advanced workshop, participants will learn how to act for small to large role film and television roles as well as commercials and background acting. Students will be coached in real time to help hone their skills, with a partner or solo.
In this Intermediate / advanced workshop, students will use all of the foundation work to "hit their marks" while they bring about emotive and comedic performances for the camera. Participants are welcome to contribute their own scripts/ professional material to workshop.
